Good News! Attorney Shang Chencheng from Zhongcheng Qingtai’s Jinan Office has won the First Prize in the Provincial Lawyers’ Debate Competition 2025, as well as the title of “Outstanding Debater.”

From November 13 to 14, the 2025 Provincial Lawyers’ Debate Competition, hosted by the Shandong Provincial Lawyers Association, was held in Jinan. A total of 19 teams from cities across the province and directly affiliated law firms participated in the competition. Shang Chencheng, a lawyer from Zhongcheng Qingtai Jinan Office, stood out with his outstanding performance, winning the first prize in the team category and being awarded the title of “Outstanding Debater.”

This debate competition focused on the cutting edge of social and technological development, featuring intense exchanges around four criminal case topics closely tied to current social hotspots. Meng Fanhu, Senior Partner at Zhongcheng Qingtai Jinan Office and Vice President of the Jinan Lawyers Association, served as the event’s mentor, providing comprehensive guidance and support to the Jinan lawyers’ team. During the competition, Attorney Shang Chencheng demonstrated seamless teamwork with his teammates, displaying composure and clarity of thought. He thoroughly analyzed the cases from multiple perspectives—including legal principles, evidence, and social impact—showcasing a solid legal foundation and outstanding verbal skills. His performance earned high praise from the judges, and he ultimately won the first-place team award as well as the title of “Outstanding Debater.”

I’ll take this as motivation to keep striving harder and continuously improving myself,” said lawyer Shang Chencheng after the competition.
