Dynamic | Zhongcheng Qingtai Jinan Institute Cheng Law-abiding Lawyers Attend the 2023 Peer Quality Assessment Meeting of Legal Aid Cases of the Municipal Legal Aid Center

On January 25, 2024, Jinan Legal Aid Center held the 2023 peer quality assessment meeting on legal aid cases. Cheng Shabby, deputy director and senior partner of Zhongcheng Qingtai (Jinan) Law Firm, was invited to attend the meeting as a legal aid case review expert. The evaluation is based on the "Rules for Peer Evaluation of the Quality of Legal Aid Cases of the Ministry of Justice" and adopts the method of peer evaluation. From the legal aid cases that have been completed by 14 legal aid institutions in the city, 140 case files are selected for evaluation.

Director Cheng Shoufa was the first member of the Shandong Provincial Legal Aid Civil Case Quality Review Expert Database, and participated in the peer assessment of provincial and municipal legal aid cases for many times. This two-day evaluation meeting adopts the method of peer evaluation. The evaluation activities adopt the methods of one case, one evaluation, cross-evaluation and collective discussion. The 16 first-level indicators and 38 second-level indicators of the evaluation rules are evaluated item by item, the advantages and disadvantages of each indicator of the participating cases are listed, and the evaluation is assigned.

Zhongcheng Qingtai will take this opportunity to continuously improve the agency quality of legal aid cases, meet the higher expectations and needs of the public for public legal services, give full play to the function of legal aid to help the poor, and promote the final resolution of contradictions and disputes.
