Lawyer Meng Fanhu was hired as the legal adviser to the public security organs at the provincial, municipal and county levels.

On April 23, 2018, Jinan Public Security Bureau held the second forum on the appointment of legal advisers on the second floor of the Municipal Bureau Police Museum. The meeting was presided over by Zhao Xin, director of the Municipal Bureau headquarters. Comrade Chen Gang, deputy director of the Municipal Bureau, attended the meeting and delivered a speech. Leaders in charge of relevant units directly under the bureau and all legal advisers attended the meeting. Lawyer Meng Fanhu, deputy director of our institute, participated in the discussion and was hired as the "Legal Advisor of Jinan Public Security Bureau" for a period of three years.

On January 11, 2018, the Shandong Provincial Public Security Department issued a notice, deciding to appoint 16 scholars and lawyers including Ma Huaide, vice president of China University of Political Science and Law, as the second legal adviser of the Provincial Public Security Department. Lawyer Meng Fanhu was hired as the first legal adviser of the Provincial Public Security Department in December 2015. After successfully completing the two-year consulting work, he was re-appointed as the second legal adviser.

In January 2015, lawyer Meng Fanhu was employed as legal adviser and law enforcement supervisor of Shanghe County Public Security Bureau for a period of three years. In March 2018, the Shanghe County Public Security Bureau notified the renewal of lawyer Meng Fanhu as the second legal adviser and law enforcement supervisor of the Shanghe County Public Security Bureau.

Lawyer Meng Fanhu has been working as a lawyer for 25 years. He is a member of the Criminal Professional Committee of the All China Lawyers Association and a senior criminal expert lawyer in the province. The establishment of a legal advisory system by public security organs at all levels is of great significance for comprehensively deepening reform and accelerating the construction of public security under the rule of law. As the legal adviser of the public security organs at the provincial, municipal, and county levels, lawyer Meng Fanhu will give full play to his professional expertise and actively participate in various legal affairs such as the review of the legality of major decision-making matters, legal training, and legal argumentation of difficult and complex cases. continue to make contributions to the administration of public security organs according to law and the construction of public security under the rule of law.
