On November 19, the Party branch of the Second Detention Ward of Jiewei Prison in Shandong Province held a joint Party-building symposium and exchange meeting with the Second Party Branch of Zhongcheng Qingtai Jinan Office, under the theme “Joint Party Building Unites Strength, Working Together for Development.” Attending the meeting were Cao Qiwei, Secretary of the Party branch and Warden of the Second Detention Ward of Jiewei Prison in Shandong Province; Yu Zhicheng, Organizational Committee Member of the Party branch and Deputy Instructor; Gan Kekke, Fourth-Level Police Officer; Zhang Xiaole, Zhang Shiqian, and Zhou Guangqian, First-Level Police Officers; Wang Yan, Member of the Party Committee of Zhongcheng Qingtai Jinan Office and Secretary of the Second Party Branch; as well as Senior Partner Dong Guoai, Partner Tian Yuanying, Director of the Administrative Office Li Weixing, and Party Building Specialist Yu Wei.

Accompanied by lawyer Wang Yan, Secretary Cao Qiwei and his delegation toured the office environment, conference rooms, Party-building wall, and honor wall of Zhongcheng Qingtai’s Jinan office, gaining an understanding of the firm’s development journey, its Party-building efforts, and its institutional framework.

During the symposium, Attorney Wang Yan introduced the practical experiences and achievements of Zhongcheng Qingtai Jinan Office in areas such as Party building and pro bono legal services. She also stated that, taking this joint initiative as an opportunity, the office would fully leverage its professional strengths as lawyers to support the rule-of-law development within prisons. Secretary Cao Qiwei highly praised the firm’s professional competence and sense of social responsibility, noting that this joint effort represents a valuable exploration for deepening social assistance and education within correctional facilities and preventing security risks in supervision. He expressed hope that both sides would continue to strengthen their collaboration in the future, promoting resource sharing and complementary advantages.
