From October 18 to 19, the Shandong Province Lawyers' Sports Friendship Tournament was successfully held in Weihai. Gao Mengying, Guo Jiace, and Zhao Yanbei, lawyers from Zhongcheng Qingtai Jinan Office, represented the Jinan Lawyers Association as outstanding athletes selected to compete as a team. This friendly competition featured four events: Go, badminton, table tennis, and 3-on-3 basketball. Lawyers from the provincial legal teams representing 16 cities across the province—and even those directly under provincial jurisdiction—gathered together, using sports as a unifying force to showcase the legal profession's spirit of unity, determination, and relentless pursuit of excellence. On the court, lawyers from our firm were eager and full of fighting spirit, eagerly diving into the matches with boundless enthusiasm.
At Three-on-Three Basketball Tournament In the match, lawyer Guo Jia-ce and his teammates immediately showcased exceptional tactical awareness and seamless teamwork from the very beginning. Working closely together and moving with remarkable agility, they skillfully executed passes that broke through the opponent's defense, earning enthusiastic applause from the spectators. Despite facing a formidable opponent, they remained undaunted, relying on precise shooting, solid defensive strategies, and flexible tactics to powerfully advance through each round—ultimately leading their team to an inspiring championship victory.
Every match on the badminton court was fiercely competitive, with opponents delivering sharp attacks and executing rock-solid defenses. In the mixed team event, lawyer Gao Mengying worked seamlessly with her teammates, showcasing agile footwork and powerful strokes. Despite facing numerous challenges along the way, the team persevered with unwavering determination, ultimately securing a spot in the top five—and finishing proudly in fifth place. Their relentless sweat and indomitable fighting spirit on the court earned them the respect of their rivals and the applause of the audience.
The table tennis team event also featured a lineup of formidable opponents, with each team boasting impressive strength. Lawyer Zhao Yanbei, as one of the team's key players, delivered a steady performance throughout the competition. He executed precise shots and reacted swiftly when receiving the ball, seamlessly adjusting his tactics to match his opponents' playing styles while maintaining tight coordination with his teammates. Thanks to his reliable play and outstanding teamwork, they ultimately secured third place in this fiercely competitive tournament. At the closing ceremony, Olympic table tennis champion Ms. Wang Nan herself was present to present awards to the winning athletes.
