On October 15, Julio Duarte, President of the Brazil-China Chamber of Commerce and Trade Promotion (hereafter referred to as "BCCPT"), along with Vice Presidents Edison Garcia and Luis Eduardo, Brazilian Legal Counsel Luis Eduardo, Chinese President Hao Xiaodong, and Executive President Li Zhen, paid a visit to Zhongcheng Qingtai's Jinan office. They were warmly welcomed by Du Wentang, Senior Partner at the Jinan office, as well as Partners Hao Bin and Su Na. Also in attendance was Yu Yue, Partner and Head of the Zhongcheng Qingtai-Mai Jiarong-Feng Du Joint Venture Office, alongside lawyer Yan Pingping. Together, the three parties gathered for a seminar focused on legal cooperation between China and Brazil, exploring new opportunities for collaboration.

Together, the three parties convened for a symposium on China-Brazil legal cooperation and exchange, discussing new opportunities for collaboration.

During the symposium, the three parties reviewed their collaborative achievements over the past year, engaging in practical discussions on topics such as optimizing service models, establishing a regular communication mechanism, and enhancing legal and business information sharing. They also reached several key agreements on how to deepen their cooperation moving forward. Director Du Wentang noted that Brazil, as Latin America's largest economy, has seen its partnership with China steadily deepened in recent years—particularly in areas like agriculture, energy, technology, and green transformation—creating vast opportunities for the legal services market. Since 2024, following the signing of a strategic cooperation agreement between Zhongcheng Qingtai Law Firm and Duarte Garcia Law Office, the two firms have served as joint legal advisors to the Brazil-China Business Promotion Association. Together, they have already achieved highly effective collaboration on multiple China-Brazil economic and trade projects, laying a solid foundation for further expanding cooperative areas and elevating service quality in the future.

This exchange has further strengthened Zhongcheng Qingtai's legal service network presence in Latin America. Moving forward, Zhongcheng Qingtai will continue to leverage its platform advantages, enhancing its ability to integrate cross-border resources. Together with strategic partners such as the Brazil-China Business Promotion Association and Duarte Garcia Law Firm, we will collaborate to provide Chinese and Brazilian enterprises with more efficient and precise legal support, thereby fostering high-quality growth in economic and trade cooperation between our two countries.
