On November 30th, the "Effective Defense Experience" themed sharing session and the first general meeting of the Zhongcheng Qingtai Criminal Business Center was successfully held at the Jinan office. This event invited participants to attend both online and offline. The director of the Criminal Business Center, Meng Fanhua, and 30 member lawyers attended the offline meeting, while other member lawyers participated online.
On November 30, the "Effective Defense Experience" themed sharing meeting and the first general meeting of the Criminal Business Center of Zhongcheng Qingtai was successfully held in Jinan. This event invited everyone to participate both online and offline, with 30 member lawyers of the center, including Director Meng Fanhua, attending the offline meeting, while other member lawyers participated online.
The event was hosted by Director Meng Fanhua, who provided comments and a summary. Director Meng detailed the functions of the Criminal Business Center, reported on the work carried out since the establishment of the center, and explained the future work direction of the center based on the current social situation. Deputy Directors Jia Maoyuan, Jia Xincui, Wu Feixiong, and Wu Mingyuan, as well as member lawyers and senior partner Li Kun and other attendees, offered opinions and suggestions regarding the center's activities.
During the "Effective Defense Experience" themed sharing session, lawyers Wu Feixiong, Jia Xincui, Wu Mingyuan, Cui Shouxu, and Li Kun shared their personal case handling insights, focusing on how substantive issues, procedures, and external factors align with the case itself, as well as communication methods during case handling. The insights and suggestions they presented sparked strong reactions and enthusiastic resonance.
Professor Huang Shiyuan, a doctoral supervisor and director of the Litigation Law Research Institute at Shandong University Law School, and deputy director (on secondment) of the Fourth Prosecution Department of the Shandong Provincial People's Procuratorate, along with Associate Professor Ma Cong, a master's supervisor at Shandong Jianzhu University Law School, and Associate Professor Xing Bing, a master's supervisor at the Law Department of Jinan University, were invited to attend the event and provide comments on the above sharing. The three guests analyzed the potential difficulties, common practical disputes, and effective defense strategies for special crimes from the perspectives of prosecutors and scholars, benefiting the attendees greatly.
Center members Yang Shaobin, Sun Tao, Guo Zhongzheng, and Jia Tianyu also shared their accumulated "effective defense experience" and insights from handling criminal cases. The event was rich in content, with a strong and enthusiastic atmosphere.
Establishing a Criminal Business Center at the headquarters level is an important measure to implement Zhongcheng Qingtai's development concept of "integrated development and integrated management." Moving forward, the Criminal Business Center will take the successful hosting of this event as an opportunity to strengthen communication and interaction among member lawyers through business cooperation, training, forums, and salons, jointly and better expanding the legal service market in the criminal field, and building the Zhongcheng Qingtai criminal legal service brand.
