On September 19, lawyer Li Kun, senior partner and deputy director of the criminal department of Zhongcheng Qingtai Jinan Institute, was invited to carry out a thematic exchange activity on the theme of "Analysis on the Application of the Plea and Punishment System from the Perspective of Defenders" for the special course of "Plea and Punishment Duty Lawyer Practice" in Shandong Institute of Political Science and Law. Through the combination of theory and practice, lawyer Li Kun let students fully understand the legislative background, value orientation and relevant legal provisions of the leniency system of pleading guilty and punishment, and focus on some problems existing in the application of pleading guilty and punishment. In the process of communication, lawyer Li Kun also introduced to the students the requirements and methods of defense work under the background of confession and punishment, so that the students could really feel the twists and turns and charm of defense work.
In the interactive session, lawyer Li Kun exchanged views on the students' issues of "imputation after signing the statement" and "appeal after pleading guilty and punishing", and introduced the characteristics and requirements of lawyers' work.
At the end of the exchange activity, teacher Bao chunxiao of Shandong university of political science and law expressed his heartfelt thanks to our institute for participating in the construction of the special course of "practice of pleading guilty and punishing lawyers on duty", and expressed his wish to further deepen two-way communication and broaden the breadth and depth of cooperation.
