Our lawyers were invited to participate in the "Forum on Hot, Difficult and Frontier Issues of Collective Land Expropriation Compensation and Resettlement"
On May 25, 2019, the "Forum on Hotspots, Difficulties and Frontier Issues of Collective Land Acquisition, Compensation and Resettlement" sponsored by the Construction Engineering and Real Estate Professional Committee of the All China Lawyers Association was held in Xiongan New District. The meeting was presided over by Yang Jiaxue and Wei Wenjin, deputy directors of the Construction and Housing Committee of the National Lawyers Association. Liu Shoumin, vice president of the National Lawyers Association, Yuan Huazhi, director of the Construction and Housing Committee of the National Lawyers Association, Zhang Xiaoyun, deputy director, and Li Rou, director of the Business Department of the All-China Lawyers Association, attended and delivered speeches. This conference took the form of submitting papers to register, and gathered more than 50 outstanding lawyers from all over the country to participate in the conference. Lawyer Li Heng, deputy director and senior partner of our institute, member of the Construction and Housing Committee of the National Law Association, and lawyer Lu Xiaoxia of our three urban construction and real estate departments were invited to attend the meeting.

At this meeting, Zhang Xiaoyun, director of Hebei Xinye Law firm, interpreted the outline of Hebei Xiongan New area Planning, and then 16 lawyers stood from different perspectives, on the identification of the membership of collective economic organizations, the disposal of illegal buildings, the protection of the interests of married women, whether the approval of land expropriation and conversion is actionable, independent relocation, independent retreat, resettlement compensation for one family with multiple houses, and compensation for rural enterprises, etc. The various doubts, difficulties, and frontier issues expressed their views and opinions. Among them, the paper "Resettlement Compensation for" One Household and Multiple Houses "in Collective Land Expropriation" submitted by our lawyer Li Heng and Lu Xiaoxia was selected as one of the keynote speeches, and Lu Xiaoxia's keynote speech on the paper was well received. At the same time, more than 30 lawyers came to the stage for interactive exchanges. Lawyer Li Heng of our institute made wonderful comments on the historical issues that need to be considered in the resettlement compensation of homestead and rural enterprises in collective land expropriation.
