Question: I was fortunate to be appointed by the Shandong Lawyers Association to participate in the National Lawyers Association Young Lawyers Leading Talent Training Camp (18th and 19th). The biggest feeling of the seven-day devil training is the pressure, the pressure brought by the excellence of the students, and the pressure of examining one's own practice experience with the development trend of the industry. Fortunately, we are in a great era, an era of great promise in the legal profession; fortunately, we are in a vigorous industry, an industry with great prospects for future development. May all pressure be transformed into motivation.

Over the past 40 years since the restoration and reconstruction of China's lawyer system, the lawyer industry has developed rapidly. By the end of 2018, there were more than 423000 practicing lawyers and more than 30000 law firms in China. The degree of specialization and scale of the industry has been continuously improved, and the lawyer team has become an indispensable and important group in the legal professional community.

Along with the country's economic development and the process of democracy and the rule of law, the number of practicing lawyers in China will grow rapidly. In China, there are currently 2.17 lawyers per 10,000 people, compared with 37 in the United States and 15.4 in the United Kingdom. At this stage, the income of China's lawyer industry accounts for 0.1 per cent of the country's GDP, while that of the United States and the United Kingdom is 1.51 per cent and 1.19 per cent respectively. Compared with developed countries under the rule of law, China's lawyer industry has a huge space for development. According to the Outline for Comprehensively Deepening Judicial Administration Reform (2018-2022), the total number of lawyers nationwide will reach 620000 by 2022.

In addition to the rapid growth in the number of practitioners, Chinese lawyers will face many new trends. In this youth training camp, Vice President Zhang Jingzhong profoundly summarized the development trend of China's lawyer industry-the team structure is more reasonable, the legal service market is changing from relatively closed to open, the legal service market is more mature, the public functions of lawyers are highlighted, the internationalization of Chinese lawyers is gradually accelerating, the Internet is profoundly affecting the lawyer industry, new forms of litigation and non-litigation are emerging, industry supervision is strengthened, and law firm management is facing new challenges.

These new trends indicate that the lawyer industry will have a broader development prospects in the future.

At the same time, under the new characteristics of the new model of national governance, the new economic normal, the new pattern of opening up, and the new trend of judicial reform, the Chinese lawyer industry needs to think about how to deal with new trends and how to move towards the future.

"Young wisdom leads to national wisdom, young wealth leads to national wealth, and young strength leads to national strength"-as Mr. Liang Qichao said, the future prosperity of the industry also depends on the inheritance of the industry and the cultivation of the reserve force of the industry. The Youth Training Camp of the National Association of Lawyers requires students to be no more than 40 years old. Lawyers in this age group account for more than 60% of lawyers in the country. They constitute the main force of Chinese lawyers. They are not only the leading force for the future development of the industry, but also the hope for the future of the industry.

The All-China Lawyers Association's "Guiding Opinions on Further Strengthening the Training of Young Lawyers" clearly states that "young lawyers are the future of the lawyer team. The cultivation of a team of young lawyers who are politically firm, proficient in the law, uphold justice and abide by integrity is related to the healthy and sustainable development of China's lawyers, as well as the process of building a democratic legal system in China." "Focus on youth development and help the future of the industry" has become an important work of the All-China Lawyers Association, and the "Young Lawyers Leading Talent Training Camp" has also become a golden sign for the training and development of the Chinese lawyer industry.

Secretary-General Han Xiutao said in the first lesson of this camp that the youth training camp is political training, training young lawyers to think about the development of the industry, training young lawyers to improve their positions, enlarge the pattern and expand their horizons. No matter what kind of development achievements a law firm or a lawyer has made, how to become this law firm and how to become this barrister should be considered in the context of the times, society and the country. This should be the future strength of Chinese lawyers should have the pattern and vision.

During this youth training camp, 14 students actively requested to join the Party and submitted applications for joining the Party. After the training, the first thing Lu Peitao, director of Jiangxi Yinggan Law Firm, went back was to hold a ceremony for the establishment of the party branch of the firm, and took practical actions to present the party's birthday. The trainees of the youth training camp have deeply realized the relationship between party building and the development of the industry. Political firmness and correct direction are the qualities that the lawyer industry must possess in the future development.

The topics of this training camp debate competition are "whether artificial intelligence will have a substantial impact on the professionalization of the future lawyer industry", "criminal lawyers, the road is getting wider and wider, or the prospect is getting bleak", "whether there is a corner overtaking in the development of young lawyers", "professional lawyers, panacea lawyers, who is more promising", "network public opinion to promote judicial justice, or hinder judicial justice", "small law firms as a 'big boss ', it is still a" small team "on the big platform. Each topic is not only the propositions of the pros and cons, but also the young lawyers' thinking on the future development of the industry. There are winners and losers in the debate competition, but there is no right or wrong answer to the debate question. For each question, the students of the youth training camp have their own expectations and choices, and they all greet and embrace the future with their own actions.

After the training, lawyer Chen Chao of Jilin Chuangyi Law Firm, the 18th monitor, immediately proposed a book on the youth training camp among the students, leaving traces of knowledge and perception and passing on the spirit of the youth training camp. The students responded enthusiastically, offering suggestions and adding tiles to help. "Gathering is a fire, scattering is a sky full of stars", this is the slogan and spirit of the youth training camp, and it is also the responsibility and love of young lawyers for the industry, and their responsibility and inheritance for the future. After returning to their respective law firms, young lawyers will continue to pass on and carry forward this spirit.

The youth training camp is over, and the road of "leading talents" as the future young lawyers in the industry has just begun. The trend is approaching and the future has come. Sunrise river flowers red than fire, spring river green as blue.
