Lawyer Zhou Jiakui Attends Advanced Seminar on Criminal Defense of Cybercrime Cases at Peking University
In order to further improve the professional ability of criminal defense and broaden the defense thinking for new crimes, on November 14, lawyer Zhou Jiakui of Zhongcheng Qingtai Jinan Institute participated in an advanced seminar on criminal defense of cybercrime cases sponsored by Peking University Law School. Guo Li, Secretary of the Party Committee and Deputy Dean of Peking University Law School, Yang Xiaolei, Deputy Dean, and Chen Ruihua, Chairman of the Academic Committee, attended the event. Nearly 200 criminal defense lawyers from all over the country participated in the seminar.
This five-day seminar is the sixth seminar held by Peking University in recent years. The seminar focuses on such topics as "the basic principles of criminal responsibility in cyber crime cases", "the exploration of lawyers' compliance business-an analysis based on the problem of network big data", "the effective defense of electronic evidence", "the identification of the legitimacy of the new e-commerce model", "the identification and defense of the traditional criminal network, chen Xingliang, Chen Ruihua, Che Hao, Xue Jun, Wang Xin, Liu Pinxin and other well-known domestic jurists and senior practical experts were invited to explain the basic theory and interpret the trial practice for the students. At the same time, the seminar also invited Xu Zongxin, Wang Yalin and other well-known criminal defense lawyers to teach defense experience, business points and defense skills on the spot. In addition, this seminar also arranged distinctive "Jinglin Criminal Debate Night" and "Peking University Criminal Debate Night Talk" theme salon activities to build a platform for experience sharing and interactive exchanges for all students.
During the five days of the seminar, lawyer Zhou Jiakui listened carefully, thought deeply, spoke actively, and discussed and exchanged views with excellent criminal defense lawyers from all over the country, and shared their experience and experience in handling cases. He benefited a lot and gained a lot.
