On June 10, our city held a conference to commend the elected "Top Ten Outstanding Youth in Quancheng. lei jianguo, deputy secretary of the municipal party committee, and lei jie, member of the standing committee of the municipal party committee, presented awards to the youth who received the honorary title. The selection of this year's "Top Ten Outstanding Youth in Quancheng" is jointly carried out by the Organization Department of the Jinan Municipal CPC Committee, the propaganda Department of the Jinan Municipal CPC Committee, the Jinan Municipal Committee of the Communist Youth League, the Jinan personnel Bureau, the Jinan Radio and Television Bureau, the Jinan Daily newspaper Group, and the Jinan Youth Federation, aiming to commend and publicize youth models who have made great contributions and outstanding achievements in building a harmonious Jinan and promoting the economic and social development of the provincial capital.
Since practicing in our institute in 1996, lawyer Dong Yiming has devoted himself to his post, is determined to forge ahead and willing to contribute. With good practice quality, sincere dedication and strong sense of mission, he has devoted himself to the work of lawyers. Over the past ten years, it has handled nearly 1,000 legal affairs of various types, and won unanimous praise from the parties with its high-quality service. He has been awarded as "excellent lawyer of Jinan City", the first "top ten young lawyers of Quancheng", "top ten outstanding volunteers of Jinan City", the first "top ten young guards of Quancheng", "excellent lawyer of Shandong Province" and other honorary titles. While providing high-quality lawyer services to the society, he cares for the society, is enthusiastic about public welfare undertakings, and actively repays the society with a sincere heart: since 1999, he has taken the initiative to undertake the investigation and evidence collection of claims against Japan by Shandong captive workers during World War II. He traveled tens of thousands of miles in seven years and went to Japan to appear in court at his own expense to support labor litigation. Since 2001, he has donated a number of extremely poor college students every year at his alma mater, more than 20 students have completed their studies with excellent results under his support and embarked on work; in 2002, under his initiative, our institute established the country's first "Youth Volunteer Service" composed of practicing lawyers.
