On July 27, 2005, Gong Qiushui, Secretary of the Party Leadership Group and Director of the Municipal Bureau of Justice, and Li Fangming, Director of the Political Department of the Bureau, came to our institute to inspect and guide the development of educational activities to maintain the advanced nature of Communist Party members.
Director Gong carefully checked the publicity of our education and the setting up of the study garden, checked the party members' study notes, learning experience, attendance and make-up lessons records, and listened to the work report of our education activities. Comrade Wang Guangren gave full play to the fighting fortress and vanguard role of our party branch and party member lawyers in maintaining the advanced nature of party members and standardizing practice activities; concentrated study with party groups and individual self-study; organized party members to review their vows to join the party, and carried out activities in various forms such as revolutionary traditional education, donation to school, helping the disabled, and legal aid.
Director Gong believes that our institute attaches great importance to the leadership of educational activities, has a unified understanding, is tightly organized, studies conscientiously and solidly, and has obvious results. I hope that I will sum up my experience in the educational activities in a timely manner, give full play to the role of Zhongcheng Institute as a demonstration unit for the city's lawyers to carry out advanced education activities, and drive the city's lawyers to carry out good educational activities.
director gong stressed the need to further enhance understanding of the importance of conducting educational activities to maintain the advanced nature of party members, which is a strategic decision to put into practice the important thinking of the 'three represents' and the grand goal of building a well-off society in an all-round way. To do a good job in the education of the advanced nature of the party members of the lawyer team, we should focus on the following four aspects: the ideal and belief of the party members and lawyers, the party members and lawyers should have a banner and direction in their hearts; the service direction and service consciousness of lawyers, we should adhere to the purpose of "four services" and strive to practice the "three representatives; we will improve the party's grass-roots organizations, work style, and system construction, and give full play to the fighting fortress and vanguard and exemplary role of party branches and party members and lawyers in all kinds of work. Through study, party member lawyers have significantly improved their ideological, operational, and theoretical levels, consciously obey and serve the overall work of the party and the government, and play an active role in building a socialist country under the rule of law and building a socialist harmonious society. I am determined to do a good job in educational activities more seriously in accordance with the requirements of Director Gong, so as to push all kinds of work to a new level.
