A group of eight people from Shandong Zhongcheng Renhe Law Firm went to Yucheng on March 13 to provide legal services to the laborers and their subordinates who were forcibly taken to Japan during the Anti-Japanese War, and to investigate and collect evidence for their claims against Japan. Shandong Zhongchengrenhe Law Firm has joined the Chinese Lawyers Group for claims against Japan since 2000, and has been responsible for the investigation and evidence collection of labor claims against Japan in Shandong for free. It has been nearly four years. On March 13, seven workers to Japan and one labor subordinate participated in the investigation, and eight people, including members of the lawyer volunteer service team and League branch of Zhongcheng Institute, participated in the investigation. They are Dong Yiming, Yu Peng, Liu Keyong, Tang Xiangdong, Cai Weizhong, Wang Xuefeng, Tian Wenhua and Yan Xinming. The evidence materials formed by this investigation and evidence collection will be used in the Miyagi Prefecture Court of Japan as evidence for war victims to claim compensation from Japan and related enterprises. The lawyer volunteer service team of Zhongcheng Institute will go to Yucheng in late April to conduct another round of investigation and evidence collection of war victims.
