President Wang Guangren attends the annual general meeting of the Law Society of Hong Kong

From October 4 to 6, 2002, lawyer Wang Guangren, vice president of Provincial Lawyers Association and president of Jinan Lawyers Association, Liang Dechao, president of Shandong Lawyers Association, Yang Weicheng, vice president of Provincial Lawyers Association and vice president of Qingdao Lawyers Association, went to Hong Kong to attend the annual meeting of the Hong Kong Law Society. The theme of the conference was "carrying forward the past and opening up new areas of law", and listened to the experience of Hong Kong lawyers in actively developing legal business. During the meeting, we also visited the Hong Kong Productivity Council, the Hong Kong Stock Exchange and law firms, and visited officials of the Department of Justice. The Secretary for Justice of Hong Kong, Ms. Elsie Leung, invited all the presidents to her official residence. According to the cooperation agreement signed between the Provincial Lawyers Association and the Hong Kong Law Society in May this year, after discussion with Chairman Ho Zhiqiang of the Mainland Legal Affairs Committee of the Hong Kong Law Society, the two places will exchange lawyers for four-week and two-week study tours as soon as possible. Promote the collaboration and expansion of legal business between the two places.
