In 2020, Zhanhua Dongzao was included in the second batch of China's geographical indications list by the European Union Council. In 2021, it was selected into the guiding list of key contacts for promoting the application of geographical indications of the State Intellectual Property Office. In 2022, it was selected as the "Typical Case of Geographical Indications Helping Rural Revitalization" by the State Intellectual Property Office ".
