2018 Shandong PPP Development Seminar Successfully Held
On September 6, 2018, the "Symposium on Standardizing Development, Improving Quality and Increasing Efficiency -2018 Shandong PPP Development" sponsored by our institute was solemnly held in Shungeng Villa, Jinan. The meeting was guided and supported by the Finance and International Cooperation Department (PPP Management Center) of Shandong Provincial Department of Finance. Nearly 300 representatives from more than 60 consulting agencies, social capital and government staff at all levels attended the meeting. Lawyer Shi Guangbo, head of our PPP business team and senior partner, and lawyers Cai Jing, Gao Yugang and Wang Wei, backbone of PPP business, attended the meeting.

At the meeting, Li Xuechun, director of the Finance and International Cooperation Department of Shandong Provincial Department of finance, shared the development process, experience and typical cases of PPP in Shandong Province with the theme of "good practice of PPP in Shandong Province", introduced the "doing something" and "not doing something" on the road of PPP standardization, and put forward requirements for the next stage of PPP work.

The meeting specially invited Dr. Xia Yingzhe, Director of the Promotion and Development Department of the PPP Center of the Ministry of Finance, Mr. Zhou Ningdong, General Manager of the Investment Business Department of China Government-Enterprise Cooperation Investment Fund Management Co., Ltd., Professor Cao Fuguo, Dean of the PPP Research Institute of Central University of Finance and Economics, and Beijing Dayue Consulting Co., Ltd. Chairman Mr. Jin Yongxiang attended the meeting to give keynote speeches.
Lawyer Shi Guangbo made a special speech entitled "PPP Project Renegotiation", introducing and analyzing the background, legal attributes, specific circumstances and post-negotiation treatment of PPP project renegotiation.

According to the relevant policies of the recent national standard and high-quality development of PPP, this meeting carried out discussions and exchanges around "standardizing development, improving quality and efficiency", and put forward the "Joint Initiative on Service Standardization and Self-discipline of Consulting institutions". The participating consulting institutions jointly signed the proposal, promising to strictly abide by relevant laws and policies, strengthen self-construction, strive to improve the level of consulting services, abide by professional ethics, and create a market environment of fair competition, to make due contributions to the development of PPP to a new level.
