To strengthen professional exchanges within the legal industry and enhance lawyers' critical thinking skills and expertise, the Shandong Provincial Lawyers Association's directly affiliated Lawyers Debate Competition was successfully held in Jinan on November 7. Attending the event were Zhongcheng Qingtai lawyers Huang Dongqing and Han Ye, along with intern lawyer Wang Xin. They collectively won the second-place team award, while lawyer Huang Dongqing was honored with the title of "Best Debater."

Zhongcheng Qingtai Lawyers Huang Dongqing and Han Ye, along with intern lawyer Wang Xin, participated in this event and won the second-place team award. Lawyer Huang Dongqing was also honored with the title of "Best Debater."
In this competition, debating the topic "In the era of the digital economy, should we prioritize privacy or convenience?" my team member, armed with profound legal expertise and outstanding on-the-spot adaptability, presented a well-structured argument from three key perspectives: fundamental human rights, systemic risks, and sustainable development. With clear and compelling viewpoints backed by rigorous logic, they demonstrated excellent teamwork and solid professional competence, earning unanimous approval from the judges.
After a comprehensive review, our firm’s lawyers were awarded the second-place team prize, thanks to their clear argumentative logic and articulate communication skills. Meanwhile, Attorney Huang Dongqing, known for her solid reasoning and precise rebuttals, was recognized as the "Best Debater," showcasing the exceptional intellectual prowess of Zhongcheng Qingtai’s legal team.
Debate sharpens thought; argument conveys truth. Moving forward, Zhongcheng Qingtai will continue to encourage lawyers to actively participate in industry exchanges and professional competitions, fostering action through reflection and expertise through debate—steadily enhancing lawyers' professional competence and legal service capabilities, thereby contributing to the advancement of the rule of law and the high-quality development of the legal profession.
