The Shandong Provincial Public Security Department has appointed lawyer Liu Weiguo from Zhongcheng Qingtai Jinan Office as a "Supervisory Officer for Party Conduct, Government Conduct, and Police Conduct" for a term of five years.
On January 17, the Shandong Provincial Public Security Department appointed lawyer Liu Weiguo from Zhongcheng Qingtai Jinan as a "Supervisory Officer for Party Conduct, Government Conduct, and Police Conduct," with a term of five years.
Lawyer Liu Weiguo has always actively provided suggestions and fulfilled his supervisory responsibilities according to the law. During his tenure, he also actively engaged in legal publicity activities: leading the law firm staff to collaborate with the Jinan Legal Aid Center to hold the "International Day Against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking Awareness Month" event; participating multiple times in open days at five provincial prisons and two municipal prisons in Jinan, conducting legal education and answering legal questions for inmates; and being invited to hold a themed lecture on "Collecting Evidence in Criminal Investigation from the Perspective of Lawyer Defense," which received widespread acclaim from representatives of various police units in attendance.
Lawyer Liu Weiguo stated that this is not only an honor but also carries a heavy sense of mission. He will leverage his professional advantages as a lawyer to continue fulfilling his supervisory responsibilities according to the law, actively provide suggestions, promote the construction of a positive police-civilian relationship, and play an active role as a people's supervisor and bridge, creating a good social atmosphere for public security law enforcement.
