Career first service overall situation

In 1968, 21-year-old Wang Guangren joined the army to become a glorious military doctor with the dream of serving the motherland. June 26, 1969 is a day he will remember for the rest of his life. On that day, he stood under the bright red party flag and took the oath to become a communist. From that day on, he firmly believed in fighting for the party's cause for life.

In 1972, he transferred to the Jinan Municipal Health Bureau as the secretary of the Communist Youth League. In 1980, he was transferred to the legal advisory office of Jinan City, and Wang Guangren began his career as a lawyer.

"The party's cause is supreme, the people's interests are supreme, and the constitution and law are supreme", which is a requirement for the professional ethics of lawyers. Wang Guangren believes that ideals and beliefs are not beautiful words, let alone words, nor can they be used as slogans, but should be solidified into a way of behavior and a habit. Therefore, from the first day of being a lawyer, he was determined to be a good lawyer and regard lawyers as his lifelong career.

"Career is heaven, mission is soul." The ultimate goal of the Party's cause is to build a better society. wang guangren regarded the cause of lawyers as part of the party's cause. "I'm a lawyer, but I'm a Communist first and foremost." At work, he always reminds himself of this.

In 2002, Wang Guangren and his colleagues worked hard for nearly two months for Sinotruk and Volvo of Sweden to negotiate a truck joint venture project with the 1.6 billion total investment, and the remuneration was only 20000 yuan. The US lawyer hired by the Swiss side is paid US $200 per hour. In other words, for two months of hard work by Wang Guangren and his colleagues, the remuneration is only equivalent to one day's income of foreign lawyers. However, Wang Guangren said that major projects related to Jinan's development must be done well without charging.
In 2003, a department of Jinan municipal government encountered an unprecedented foreign-related administrative litigation. Once it lost the lawsuit, it would face a huge amount of 0.11 billion administrative compensation. At the time of crisis, Wang Guangren, as the chief legal adviser of the municipal government, stepped forward and spent more than 40 days fighting day and night to win this difficult lawsuit and avoid huge losses to the government.

It was in this case that 15 or 6 hours of continuous work every day caused bleeding in his eyes and fundus. At that time, his left eye had completely lost his vision. He had four operations in Beijing and Jinan. After injecting silicone oil into his eyes, he had to lie on his stomach every day for more than two months. Despite repeated treatment, so far his left eye vision is only 0.08, almost blind.

In 2004, Jinan made the strategic deployment of "realizing a new leap and building a new spring city", and the large-scale urban construction was carried out rapidly. Wang Guangren immediately signed legal service contracts with several major urban construction headquarters on behalf of Zhongcheng Institute, providing legal services for the whole process of project construction. Over the past seven years, the Zhongcheng lawyer team has successively provided legal services for the city's key construction projects, such as Quancheng Road, Jingshi Road, Changqing University Park, Xiaoqing River governance and development, Olympic Sports Center venues, Western New Town, Eastern New District and so on.

In 2007, after the provincial Party committee and the provincial government made a strategic plan for the construction of the economic circle of the provincial capital city group, Zhongcheng Institute actively followed up with the goal of providing cross regional and comprehensive legal services for the economic and social development of the economic circle of the provincial capital city group. Together with six law firms in other six cities, the provincial Party committee leaders made special instructions for this move.

Wang Guangren believes that handling cases, being a lawyer, and being a lawyer are three different realms. If you can't combine the lawyer's career with the party's career, it will be difficult to become an excellent party member lawyer.

Others see him working so hard, think it is not worth it. Wang Guangren said: "To shine, you must endure the pain of burning." No matter how hard and tired, even at the expense of interests and health, he has always adhered to his beliefs: infinite loyalty to the party, infinite affection for the people, and infinite love for the cause of lawyers. He said that the dual status of a party member and a lawyer makes me have the realm of dedication and the spirit of sacrifice.

If it is only to handle the case, then the first thing to think about may be to make money; if it is only to be a lawyer, the first thing to think about may be to complete the client's entrustment. However, Wang Guangren has already surpassed the realm of handling cases and being a lawyer. He wants to do a career. Because in his mind, the lawyer career is part of the party's cause. Especially when serving the party's central work, Wang Guangren believes that the most important thing is to have the overall situation in mind, to win status and honor for the lawyer industry through efforts, and to promote the harmonious development and progress of society through efforts.

He willingly does a lot of things without pay, as long as it helps the cause and benefits the overall situation. With the overall situation in mind and career first, doing things under this feeling will obviously be different. It is this kind of concept that makes him willing to contribute selflessly to the central work of the party and the government and to safeguard the legitimate rights and interests of the masses; it is this kind of "fool" action that makes him win the trust of the party and the government and welcome by the people.

"Reputation cannot be measured by money. It is a magic weapon for survival and development." Wang Guangren has always believed in and pursued the principle of good faith and has never changed. Wang Guangren relied on his realm and wisdom, hard work and integrity, and his selfless dedication to serving the overall situation and the masses, and created a model copy of a party member lawyer.

Keep in mind the purpose of practicing for the people

He never forgets his party membership. Wang Guangren believes that a person's identity may change, the environment may change, and the position may change, but the beliefs and true qualities of Communist Party members can never change. "Safeguarding the legitimate rights and interests of the parties, safeguarding the correct implementation of the law, and safeguarding social fairness and justice" is the code of conduct for lawyers. A party member lawyer must "shoulder morality with iron shoulders", "drum and shout" for the people, and use his legal knowledge to serve the people's livelihood.

Safeguarding legal dignity and social justice is a lawyer's bounden duty, in the face of moral call, he felt duty-bound. Although there is no income in many cases, efforts have been made to safeguard the interests of the masses and social fairness and justice. This intangible wealth has also become the intangible asset of an excellent lawyer.

In 1995, by chance, Wang Guangren heard a young child singing on the radio. Next, the announcer introduced the child's life experience, which grabbed his heart at once. This four-year-old child named Shi Xiaode suffered from high-risk leukemia but had no money for treatment. He was on the verge of extinction, but his father in Hong Kong did not care. Hearing this, Wang Guangren clapped his case and immediately rushed to Shi Xiaide's home and decided to act as an agent for the child free of charge to get justice for the child. Wang and his colleagues in the case of the rush, but also donated money to cure the child. The court finally fully adopted Wang Guangren's proxy opinion. Under the strong pressure of public opinion, the defendant also automatically sent medical and nursing expenses from Hong Kong before the judgment. This case has aroused great repercussions throughout the country. Dozens of media in the mainland and Hong Kong have made many reports, and many kind-hearted people are scrambling to send money and medicine. People who have seen the movie "Passion Defense" must still remember the good lawyer who spoke up for the helpless weak girl and sick child in the movie. The prototype of the protagonist is Wang Guangren.

With Wang Guangren's more than 30 years of lawyer career, the party's sense of purpose has long been solidified into a kind of thinking and working style, and sublimated into a kind of personality. "A lawyer does not do things just by giving money. He should be the gatekeeper of the law and make his own efforts for the correct implementation of the law." In April 2004, Wang Guangren's old father suddenly died. As a famous filial son, Wang Guangren's grief can be imagined. However, no one could have imagined that on the day of the funeral, Wang Guangren learned that the parties involved in a case he represented had a fluke mentality and did not tell him the truth completely. Therefore, Wang Guangren was supposed to defend his innocence. The trial is imminent, and if the client is not immediately persuaded to plead guilty in good faith, the adverse verdict will be obvious based on his criminal circumstances and court performance. Fortunately, the place where he lived was only one way away from the detention center. Wang Guangren quietly rushed to the detention center to meet the parties. The client still wants him to plead not guilty. Wang Guangren unbuttoned his coat and revealed his filial sleeve. He sincerely said to the client, "I also hope you are innocent, but the facts cannot be changed. Confess to the law and fight for leniency. As your lawyer, all I say is to fight for the best result for you." The person concerned was moved to tears when he saw that Wang Guangren had come to meet him while he was dealing with his father's funeral. In the end, the party pleaded guilty in court, and the court sentenced him to probation according to the circumstances of his crime and the attitude of pleading guilty.

Everyone knows that the law is sacred, but who knows: in order to maintain this sanctity, to protect the legitimate rights and interests of the parties to the maximum extent, and for the correct implementation of the law, as an excellent lawyer, especially a party member lawyer who keeps the purpose in mind, what kind of rational transcendence and intellectual thinking should be used to face such an emotional and complex human world? What kind of difficult choice does he need to make between emotion, reason and law?

Under his advocacy, Zhongcheng Institute established the province's first volunteer lawyer service team, the disabled rights protection lawyer group, and the sanitation worker rights protection lawyer group; under his leadership, Zhongcheng Institute undertook five provincial and municipal projects. It is neither a simple superposition of the number of cases handled, nor a comparison of the depth of seniority, nor a comparison of income. "Good lawyer" is a comprehensive concept composed of correct professional philosophy, good professional ethics and excellent professional quality. Want to be a "good lawyer" is a kind of pursuit without distractions, to be a "good lawyer" is a realm, only the "lawyer" as a career to do, will reach a realm.
"Responsibility is better than ability, diligence is higher than talent." Wang Guangren believes that wisdom is important, but only by marrying faith and diligence can wisdom show its value. He knows that only through learning can we continuously improve, can we touch the inspiration of people's hearts, and produce excellent life ideas. Only with an excellent concept of life can we have a more advanced concept, a better way of thinking, people can succeed, and people's life is more valuable.

In order to practice the party's oath, learning has always been an important part of Wang Guangren's life. A strong sense of mission and responsibility, no matter how busy he is, he insists on two or three hours of spare time study every day, and also writes reading notes.

Keep your true colors and selfless dedication

The true character of a party member is dedication. As a party member, Wang Guangren always keeps the word "dedication" in mind. He believes: "The greatest value of life is not what you get or enjoy, but what you contribute to others and society."

He regards Zhongcheng Institute as his own child, and has devoted more than 20 years of painstaking efforts to Zhongcheng Institute. Because he knows that career and dedication need a platform. Under his leadership, Zhongcheng Institute has grown from a 4-person small house that rented a house in 1988 to 6 branches and 200 practicing lawyers. It has become the largest law firm in Shandong Province, and its business fees are among the highest. In the forefront of the province, the purchase of 8000 square meters of high-end offices is second to none in the province. In 2003, it became a provincial civilized unit, won the collective second-class merit three times, and entered the ranks of national excellent law firms in 2005. Dozens of lawyers have been rated as the top ten lawyers, outstanding lawyers, and outstanding young lawyers in the country, provinces, and cities. Zhongcheng Institute is known as a training base for outstanding lawyers.

Faith is a flame that never goes out in the heart. It is the source of strength to overcome all difficulties and hardships. The power of faith is infinite. In November 2006, Wang Guangren was misdiagnosed as advanced lung cancer due to severe tuberculosis. Many major hospitals believed that there was no value for surgery, and asserted that his life was at most 6 months. The whole family was anxious, but Wang Guangren was very calm. In addition to quietly to the hospital for examination, the use of evening treatment, he did not rest a day. During this period, he was required to take part in a major and urgent legal matter in other places. When the wife of the head nurse was not at ease, he asked his wife to accompany him to set out, working during the day and letting his wife have an infusion at night. Therefore, until the misdiagnosis was lifted three months later, only a few colleagues in the institute knew about it.

Afterwards, Wang Guangren said: "I thought that even if I fell, I would fall into the position of a lawyer." In his heart, the lawyer career is his life, and he will devote his whole life to the lawyer career.

Youth is not the years, but the state of mind; youth is the deep will and passionate feelings as the source, so that the long river of life passion flow. When talking with Wang Guangren, you always feel that there is a kind of courage in him: a kind of fighting spirit that is full of vigor, a kind of spirit that is inspiring and enterprising, and the spirit of youth ripples.

Wang Guangren is 64 years old this year and also suffers from high blood pressure, diabetes and other diseases. However, he is still working passionately every day now, and it is rare to have half a day's leisure. In the eyes of others, he was desperate. Laziness and lust of human nature, almost no signs can be found in him. He is like a perpetual motion machine, there is a kind of power to support him to never stop moving forward, that is, unwavering belief.

Many friends and relatives do not understand him. People often ask him doubtfully, "What on earth do you want when you are successful and working so hard? Is money more important than life?" Yes, he has been a lawyer for 31 years, and his income is enough to enjoy his old age. He has been in the industry for 31 years. With his excellent performance and good professional ethics, he has successively won the honorary titles of National Excellent Lawyer, Shandong Fumin Xinglu Labor Medal, Shandong Moral Model, Excellent Communist Party Member, etc., and won the third-class merit of 1. 2. six times. He was elected as a representative of the Party Congress and the National People's Congress, was rated as a top-notch talent, and served as the director of the jury of the senior title of lawyers in Shandong Province. in the legal circles in shandong, he is a bright-colored banner. In any way, he seems to have no reason to work hard any more. But why is he still so persistent?

"Now I have a sense of urgency. I just want to work hard to do more for the lawyer career." Wang Guangren told reporters that some people pursue power, some people pursue wealth, and what they pursue is to add bricks and tiles to the lawyer's career. "Success requires persistence, and persistence comes from love." Wang Guangren deeply loves his lawyer career and the place for which he dedicated his life. Career is endless, so as long as life is endless, we must struggle more. For him, the best enjoyment is work and dedication, which makes people sublime in entrepreneurship and dedication.

Passion thrown away, decadence will be to the soul. Passion ripples, faith like iron like steel. Ideal as a song, let a person eternal youth. In this regard, the profound life experience let Wang Guangren think, "ideal coruscate passion, passion achievement career". His road of struggle, like a heart-stirring song, stirred people's hearts.

Fame and fortune, floating clouds also. For Wang Guangren, wealth is not important, what matters is what is left behind. The old man is determined to be a thousand miles away. With the support of ideals and beliefs, Wang Guangren set out again at the age of 64 and is planning the future of Zhongcheng Institute. "Xiongguan Mandao is really like iron, and now it is stepping forward from the beginning." Wang Guangren and the management team are leading the whole firm to march towards Shandong model and China's first-class law firm.

Their goal is to build a modern law firm. In this law firm, all lawyers have the spirit of entrepreneurship, hard work, and selfless dedication; in the hearts of lawyers, they all have the overall situation, responsibility, innovation, and the sense of striving for the first; this law firm should be large-scale development, standardized management, Professional services, team operations, shared distribution, and democratic management. Wang Guangren enjoys it. It can be imagined that such a lawyer must represent the direction of the development of the lawyer industry.

He is a veteran of Shandong's legal profession, but he never takes credit for himself; he is a successful elder, but he never relies on his old age to sell his old age; he is a senior with deep qualifications, but he is never pretentious. He embodies the best qualities of a lawyer: the best integration of ideals, beliefs, responsibilities and pursuits. A strong sense of responsibility to the society reflects the unique way of thinking and behavior of excellent lawyers.

At a year-end party at the lawyer's office, he wrote a poem on the spot-"Zhongcheng, I Love You", expressing his love for the lawyer's career and Zhongcheng Institute. The poem did not finish reading, he was full of tears. Others think he is too emotional. In fact, he knows in his heart that Zhongcheng is just like his child. He loves Zhongcheng and the lawyer career. He loves him without complaint or regret, and he loves him like crazy. In the face of severe challenges, he has more worries in his heart, and in the face of great development opportunities, he is always full of passion, because he loves the lawyer career sincerely and deeply.
Wang Guangren is such a tireless person, a person with firm conviction, continuous progress and willingness to contribute. From the veteran of the law altar to the pioneer of the industry, Wang Guangren created a concept of life that condenses human wisdom, and created a way of behavior that achieves dreams in dedication.

No matter in the legal profession or in other professions, as long as they have contacts with Wang Guangren, they all respect him very much.
