On the afternoon of April 2, 2019, Mr. Jia Kui, Deputy Secretary General of Shandong Branch of China International Economic and Trade Arbitration Commission ("CIETAC Shandong Branch"), and Secretary Zhou Yueyi visited Zhongcheng Qingtai Law Firm for exchange, mr. Ji Huaimin, executive vice president of the Enterprise Commercial Law Research Association of Shandong Law Society, and lawyer Geng Guoyu, director of Zhongcheng Qingtai Jinan Institute, lawyer Li Heng, deputy director, Tian Wenhua, deputy director, lawyer He Zefeng, vice chairman of the partner conference, and lawyer Su Na, deputy director of the International Business Center, warmly received the leaders of the Shandong Branch of CITC.

Director Geng Guoyu led the leaders of CITC Shandong Branch to visit Zhongcheng Qingtai Jinan Office and introduced Zhongcheng Qingtai's party building work, development process, organizational structure, business layout, honorary performance, etc. Subsequently, the leaders of the Shandong Branch of CITC and the representatives of Zhongcheng Qingtai lawyers had an exchange and discussion on the development of Shandong arbitration business and arbitration clauses, arbitration services, arbitration promotion, personnel training and other arbitration practical issues.

During the discussion, Deputy Secretary-General Jia Shen first highly recognized the achievements made by the Shandong Law Society Corporate Commercial Law Research Association and Zhongcheng Qingtai, and gave the establishment purpose, latest development, integrated management, and promotion of the Shandong Branch of Caozhong. The operation was introduced, and the three parties are expected to cooperate at multiple levels in business exchanges, knowledge sharing, and talent training. Director Geng Guoyu, as an arbitrator of CITC, is well aware of the significance of the establishment of Shandong Branch and expresses his full support for the construction and development of CITC Shandong Branch. During the exchange, Director Geng shared the statistical data of Zhongcheng Qingtai arbitration business and provided development suggestions to CITC Shandong Branch from the perspectives of the construction of Jinan International Legal Service Center, the improvement of arbitration credibility, the preference of Shandong enterprises for dispute resolution, and the development of Bohai Rim, vice President Ji Huaimin put forward professional suggestions from the main qualification of arbitration institutions and the form of arbitration documents, while Deputy Director Li Heng provided suggestions from practical perspectives such as the design of arbitration clauses, the application of the law of the Belt and Road construction contract, and the expansion of the influence of the branch through professional discussions. The parties reached a preliminary consensus through the discussion and will establish a long-term liaison working mechanism in the near future to jointly contribute to bringing first-class arbitration services to Shandong, driving the internationalization of local law firms in Shandong, and improving the overall business and legal environment in Shandong.
