The eighth working group meeting of the Permanent China Construction Engineering Law Forum was successfully held in our institute.

On May 11 and 12, the eighth working group meeting of the Permanent China Construction Engineering Law Forum was successfully held in Shandong Zhongcheng Qingtai (Jinan) Law Firm. The meeting was attended by more than 30 experts and scholars in the field of construction engineering from Beijing, Shanghai, Zhejiang, Jiangsu, Anhui, Jiangxi, Guangxi, Hebei, Guangdong and other places. Li Heng, deputy director of our institute, and many other lawyers attended the meeting.

The Permanent China Construction Engineering Law Forum was initiated by the China Construction Engineering Law Review on June 14, 2017, and was initiated by the China Institute of Applied Law of the Supreme People's Court, China International Economic and Trade Arbitration Commission, Beijing Arbitration Commission, Shenzhen Arbitration Commission, etc. Nine units initiated the establishment to promote the improvement and development of China's construction engineering laws. The Permanent Forum is a public good and not for profit. The working method of the Permanent Forum is to organize the working group to complete high-quality research results, to promote the construction engineering legal profession to reach consensus on specific issues through the publicity and promotion of the research results by members and observers, and to improve the efficiency of dispute resolution in this field and the results. It is expected to promote the improvement and development of China's construction engineering laws and serve my country's "One Belt One Road" development strategy.

During the meeting, experts and scholars discussed the key and difficult legal issues in the field of construction engineering, and fully discussed the problems encountered in the process of writing the entry of the legal Encyclopedia of China Construction contract. The atmosphere of the meeting was warm and the results were remarkable.
