My lawyer from Vietnam went to Amsterdam for the first LAWorld Global Young Lawyers Conference.
From June 13 to 16, 2019, the first LAWorld LNG Global Meeting (the next generation of young global lawyers) was held in Amsterdam, the capital of the Netherlands. The young lawyers of this conference come from 34 law firms from 20 countries around the world. As the only law firm in Asia to participate in the conference, Zhongcheng Qingtai appointed our young lawyer Yu Yue to participate in the conference.
The conference is divided into two core topics. The first topic is about how young lawyers can grow into a legal service provider with an international perspective in the context of international globalization. Mr. Michael Bader, the current chairman of the LAWorld, and Mr. Jan van der Steenhoven, the head of the Dutch host law firm and one of the founders of the LAWorld, made speeches on this topic respectively. They shared their own growth experiences and experiences as lawyers, and highlighted how they benefited from their international vision and active participation in international exchanges in the process of growing up. The second topic is the specific problems that young lawyers may encounter in international exchanges and cooperation, such as communication ambiguity caused by cultural differences, how to find the right way to participate in international business cooperation, and the significance of LAWorld an international young lawyer cooperation platform such as LNG for the growth of young lawyers. Every young lawyer attending the meeting made a frank sharing with everyone on the topic and his own experience. Due to the similar professional stages of the participating lawyers, everyone's sharing can resonate with everyone, and the whole meeting is always immersed in a friendly and pleasant atmosphere.
