Lawyer Meng Fanhu of Jinan Institute of Zhongcheng Qingtai taught a training course on improving criminal defense skills held by Liaocheng Lawyers Association.
In order to further improve the criminal defense ability of Liaocheng lawyers, enhance the risk awareness in criminal defense, and promote the effective implementation of the full coverage of criminal defense, on August 31, the Liaocheng Lawyers Association and the Criminal Professional Committee of the Shandong Lawyers Association held a criminal defense skills improvement training course in Bayi Hotel. Member of the Criminal Professional Committee of the All-China Lawyers Association, deputy director of the Criminal Business Committee of the Shandong Lawyers Association, and deputy director of our institute, Lawyer Meng Fanhu, and five other provincial criminal expert lawyers were invited to teach this training course. Li Yi, president of Liaocheng Lawyers Association, presided over the opening ceremony. Vice presidents Zhang Dongwang, Liu Wei, Wen Tao, Di Baohua, Wu Baoqun and more than 350 lawyers from the city participated in the training.

The training course was carefully designed, and six authoritative and well-known experts in the province formed a lecturer group to teach the important and difficult problems of lawyers in the practice of criminal defense work. Our lawyer Meng Fanhu gave a lecture to the lawyers participating in this training course on the topic of "Communication Art in Criminal Defense. Based on his many years of practical experience, lawyer Meng Fanhu gave lectures on how to communicate with clients and case-handling organs, focusing on the relationship between criminal lawyers and clients and the principles of communication and the six principles, timing and content of communication between criminal lawyers and case-handling organs, and shared his views with participating lawyers on the common communication problems of criminal lawyers in representing cases.

The training course was successfully held and achieved good results. The lectures of the six expert lawyers have not only detailed theoretical analysis, but also rich practical summaries. The lectures are profound and simple, and the theory and practicality are very strong. It is a wonderful knowledge feast and is highly praised by the participating lawyers. Through training, participating lawyers have further broadened their knowledge horizons, updated their practice concepts, and enhanced their awareness of standardized practice and criminal defense capabilities.

Meng Fanhu, a lawyer, has been working as a full-time lawyer since January 1993. He is currently the deputy director and party committee member of Shandong Zhongcheng Qingtai (Jinan) Law Firm. Professionally good at criminal defense, he has served as a defender of many criminal cases with significant influence at home and abroad, such as Pan Guangtian, former vice chairman of the Shandong Provincial Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, and Zhou Chunyu, former vice governor of Anhui Province. He is a senior lawyer with high reputation in Shandong Province.
