Our Public Welfare Legal Affairs Center provides legal advisory services for migrant workers.
On the morning of January 10, members of the public welfare legal affairs center of our institute participated in the public welfare legal service activity of "respecting the law and abiding by the law, building dreams hand in hand" organized by Jinan Federation of trade unions, Municipal Bureau of justice and Municipal Law Association.
This event was held at the Migrant Workers Service Center on the west side of Quanfu Interchange in Licheng District. The entrance of the service center was already crowded with migrant workers who came for legal consultation at around 8 in the morning. In addition to the previous regular legal guidance on salary collection, this consultation also includes answers to legal issues in other fields such as migrant workers' family neighborhood disputes, loan disputes, homestead disputes, etc., and popularizes the common legal risk points of migrant workers.
This activity not only popularized the method of asking for wages according to law for the majority of migrant workers, but also conveyed the concept of safeguarding their rights according to law to migrant workers through the interpretation and answer of other legal issues, so as to improve the legal awareness and evidence awareness of migrant workers. I hope to take this opportunity to teach migrant workers how to control risks and avoid disputes.
