Xinmin v. Evidence Provisions Training Meeting Successfully Held

On August 29, the "Xinmin v. Evidence Regulations Training Meeting" jointly sponsored by Zhongcheng Qingtai Law Research Institute and Jinan Law Association Construction Engineering Committee was successfully held in the conference room of Zhongcheng Qingtai China Resources Building. The training will be broadcast live online through the "Zhongshi Lily Think Tank" and other means.

The training session was presided over by lawyer Li Heng, president of Zhongcheng Qingtai Law Research Institute and director of Jinan Construction Engineering Professional Committee, and Geng Guoyu, president of Jinan Bar Association and director of Zhongcheng Qingtai (Jinan) Law firm, delivered an opening speech.Zhao Xinhui, dean of the Law School of Shandong University of Finance and Economics, was invited to give a lecture on the background and content of the revision of civil evidence regulations. President Zhao analyzed the background of the revision of the provisions on evidence in civil litigation from the aspects of the inherent defects of the provisions on evidence in civil litigation in 2001, the maturity of the theory of civil procedure law, and the need for revision of civil procedure evidence; explained the content of the revision of the provisions on evidence in civil litigation from the four perspectives of the parties, the collection and preservation of evidence, the time limit for proof and the exchange of evidence, and the examination and determination of evidence; this paper puts forward the problems that should be paid attention to from two aspects: the convergence of the provisions of civil evidence and the civil procedure law and its interpretation, and the shortcomings of the revision of the provisions of civil evidence.The grasp of the provisions of evidence in civil litigation is a very important basic skill for lawyers, and the study and application of the provisions of evidence is of irreplaceable importance. The colleagues of Zhongcheng Qingtai Law Firm and Jinan Law Association Construction Engineering Committee listened to President Zhao's lectures and exchanged discussions on the spot, and gained a deeper understanding of the new civil litigation evidence rules and benefited a lot.
