Recently, Cui Shouxu, a partner of Zhongcheng Qingtai Jinan Institute and vice president of Zhongcheng Qingtai Law Research Institute, won the second prize of the 32nd National Vice Provincial Urban Rule of Law Forum.
In the article, lawyer Cui Shouxu analyzes and expounds the natural relationship between the expansion of the right of defense and the optimization of the litigation structure and the protection of human rights, and takes "the optimization of the litigation structure" and "the development of the protection of human rights" as the two main lines of the modernization of criminal proceedings, based on the legislative evolution of China's criminal defense right, and demonstrates the deep internal logic of the expansion of the right of defense and the modernization of the criminal procedure system.
It is reported that the National Sub-provincial Urban Rule of Law Forum is one of the seven regional rule of law forums of the Chinese Law Society, under the guidance of the Chinese Law Society, Wuhan, Hangzhou, Guangzhou, Nanjing, Xiamen, Shenzhen, Chengdu, Jinan, Ningbo, Qingdao, Harbin, Dalian, Xi'an, Shenyang, Changchun and other 15 sub-provincial law societies co-sponsored.
