10From November 29 to November 3, lawyer dong Yiming, deputy director of our institute, and the Japanese claim lawyer team went to Japan to participate in a series of activities related to claim litigation together with more than 80 workers and their survivors who were forcibly taken to Japan for forced labor during world war ii.
This event is the largest group event organized in China to Japan since the Chinese workers filed a lawsuit against the Japanese government in 1995. Workers and their survivors from all over the country who were forcibly taken to Japan for forced labor during World War II, together with five Chinese lawyers, submitted to the Japanese government, the Senate and the House of Representatives, the Supreme Court and other departments to face up to history and apologize for compensation. Claim ". Some workers and their survivors went to Tokyo, Hokkaido, Fukuoka, Miyazaki, Niigata and other places in Japan to participate in litigation activities. All workers and their survivors held a massive demonstration in Tokyo, demanding that the Japanese government and relevant enterprises apologize and compensate the injured workers. Representatives of the victimized workers also went to Mitsui, Mitsubishi, Kashima and other enterprises that forced Chinese workers to work to submit claims to protest and demonstrate. Efforts should be made to obtain notarized awards and compensation for workers as soon as possible.
