The Fourth Jinan Lawyers Congress was held on November 26, 2005 at the Joint Logistics Hotel of the Logistics Department of the Jinan Military Region. Yang Weicheng, vice chairman of the National Lawyers Association and chairman of the Provincial Lawyers Association, Li Jiazheng, member of the Standing Committee of the Municipal Party Committee and Secretary of the Political and Legal Committee, and leaders of the Provincial Department of Justice, the Municipal Bureau of Justice and relevant departments attended the meeting to congratulate.
On behalf of the third council, Wang Guangren, president of the Jinan Lawyers Association, delivered a work report entitled: "Fully promote the rapid development of the lawyer industry in our city and provide high-quality legal services for the construction of a harmonious society. The participants spoke highly of the work report made by President Wang Guangren and the work of the third Council. The conference believes that the suggestions on future work in the work report of the third council are in line with the actual needs of the work of lawyers in our city at present and in the future, and are correct and feasible.
The newly elected Fourth Council of the Municipal Lawyers Association fully affirmed the outstanding contributions made by Comrade Wang Guangren during his tenure as the chairman of the third council, and decided to appoint Comrade Wang Guangren as the fourth council of the Jinan City Lawyers Association.
