Director Wang Guangren was invited to attend the 22nd World Law Congress

From September 4 to 6, 2005, the 22nd World Law Congress was held in Beijing and Shanghai. Lawyer Wang Guangren of our institute attended the meeting in the Beijing conference area at the invitation of the China Organizing Committee of the Congress. During the conference, he participated in seminars on real estate and property law, international investment and transnational company law, international environmental law, resource law and energy law, intellectual property law, cyber security and medical technology challenges to the law, and communicated with Chinese and foreign legal professionals.

The World Law Conference is sponsored by the World Association of Jurists and is held every two years. This conference is held in my country again after the 15th World Law Conference was successfully held in my country in 1990. Invited by the World Association of Jurists and the China Organizing Committee, famous judges, prosecutors, scholars, lawyers and other legal professionals from more than 60 countries and regions attended the meeting. Focusing on the theme of "the rule of law and an international harmonious society", the participants discussed 22 topics including the rule of law and international terrorism, reached a broad consensus, and issued the "Shanghai Declaration."
