Our lawyers participate in the Beijing Lawyers Forum

From December 6 to December 8, 2002, lawyers Wang Guangren, Dong Yiming, Cai Weizhong and Ren Zhanjiang of Shandong Zhongcheng Renhe Law Firm went to Beijing to participate in the first Beijing Lawyers Forum. This is the second time that our firm has sent lawyers to participate in a large-scale lawyer business seminar after participating in the second China Lawyers Forum this year.
With the theme of "lawyers and the rule of law", this forum summarizes and displays the course of the legal profession in Beijing, and looks forward to the prospect of further strengthening the construction of the legal society and the historical mission of the legal profession after the 16th CPC National Congress and China's accession to the WTO. Minister Zhang Fusen of the Ministry of Justice, Professor Jiang Ping, Professor Liu Hongyu and many other government leaders, experts and scholars attended the forum and gave wonderful speeches at the conference. The summit of presidents of the National Bar Association was also held during the forum. Director Wang Guangren, as president of the Jinan Bar Association, was invited to attend the summit and had extensive exchanges and discussions with the presidents of local bar associations on the development of the lawyer industry after China's accession to the WTO.
This forum is divided into ten sub-venues. The discussion areas involve lawyer management, real estate, financial securities, international trade and investment, corporate governance and investment, WTO and Chinese lawyers, and many other lawyer practices. Leaders from relevant government departments and higher education Experts and scholars from universities made wonderful comments on various professional topics, and the seminar was held in a tense and warm atmosphere. Through the two-day discussion, the participating lawyers unanimously realized that under the historical background of global economic integration and China's accelerating the construction of a well-off society, lawyers play an indispensable and important role in the construction of the national legal system, and lawyers play an increasingly important role in social and economic life. At the same time, after China's accession to the World Trade Organization, the legal service market will also be opened to the outside world. How to meet new opportunities and challenges is a realistic and long-term issue facing Chinese lawyers. With the increasing expansion of the team of lawyers, the obvious improvement of the quality of lawyers, the increasingly standardized management of lawyers, the continuous deepening of the reform of the lawyer system, and the continuous expansion of the field of lawyer business, the lawyer industry should make great strides in the direction of specialization, standardization, scale and internationalization. Individual lawyers should be honest and trustworthy, diligent and responsible, seize opportunities, actively participate in political discussions and enthusiastic public welfare, and repay the society with practical actions.
