With the strong support of the Supreme People's court, the Ministry of justice, the China Law Society and the former Legislative Affairs Office of the State Council, the China Arbitration Law Research Association was initiated and established in 2004 by the China International Economic and Trade Arbitration Commission, the China Maritime Arbitration Commission and the domestic arbitration commissions of 30 large and medium-sized cities across the country, and the only national arbitration law academic group registered by the Ministry of civil affairs is the China Council for the promotion of international trade.
