Zhao Kaiyong, a senior partner, member of the management committee and director of the second department of urban construction and real estate, attended the forum with the Shandong lawyer delegation as the representative of the award-winning lawyer.

From October 27 to 29, 2023, the 18th East China Lawyers Forum was held in Nanjing, Jiangsu Province. With the theme of "development and win-win", the forum is jointly sponsored by Anhui Lawyers Association, Fujian Lawyers Association, Zhejiang Lawyers Association, Shandong Lawyers Association, Jiangxi Lawyers Association, Shanghai Lawyers Association and Jiangsu Lawyers Association. More than 130 people, including the president, vice president, secretary general, deputy secretary general, heads of business departments and lawyer representatives from the Bar Association of six provinces and one city in East China, attended the forum. Zhao Kaiyong, a senior partner, member of the management committee and director of the second Department of urban construction and real estate, attended the forum with the Shandong lawyer delegation as the award-winning lawyer representative.

Xue Jimin, vice president of the All-China Lawyers Association and president of the Jiangsu Lawyers Association, congratulated the forum on behalf of the National Lawyers Association. Zhang Yijun, deputy director of the Jiangsu Provincial Department of Justice, attended the meeting and delivered a speech. This forum consists of four sub-forums: how to be a "good lawyer to the satisfaction of the party and the people" under the new situation, how to serve the overall situation of high-quality development of the lawyer industry under the new situation, how to promote the high-quality development of the lawyer industry and the construction and thinking of foreign-related legal business. Zhao Kaiyong and Wu Xiaozhu's paper "Research on Responsibility for Ecological Restoration in the Yellow River Basin" won the second prize of this forum. Zhao Kaiyong's lawyer made a keynote speech in the second sub-forum with the topic of this paper, discussing how the lawyer industry serves the overall situation of high-quality development under the new situation, and interacted with lawyers from six provinces and one city in East China, which was well received by commentators and lawyers.

Yuan Meng, vice president of Jiangsu Lawyers Association, presided over the closing ceremony and hoped that the East China Lawyers Forum would be based on reality and move towards the future, providing new understanding, showing new thinking, contributing new impetus and producing new results for the high-quality development of the East China lawyer industry. At the end of the forum, Che Jie, vice president of Jiangsu Lawyers Association, handed over the flag of "East China Lawyers Forum" to Dai Jinxuan, vice president of Anhui Lawyers Association, and the forum was a complete success.
