Recently, at the invitation of the Women's Federation of Renbu County, Xigaze City, Tibet, Zhang Wei, a lawyer from Zhongcheng Qingtai Renbu Institute, went to Baxiang and a town in Renbu County to give a lecture on the popularization of the Civil Code [Marriage and Family] for cadres of Tibetan women's federations at all levels. Renbu County is located in the valley of the middle reaches of the Yarlung Zangbo River, in the east of Xigaze City, known as the "East Gate" of Xigaze. The average altitude of the county is 3950 meters, and the topography is mainly high mountains. The territory is vertical and horizontal, and the mountains are high and deep. The county area is 2120 square kilometers. At present, Renbu County has jurisdiction over 8 townships and 1 town, namely Padang Township, Pusong Township, Kangxiong Township, Ran Ba Township, Chaba Township, Qiwa Township, Mu Township, Renbu Township and Dejilin Town. Among them, Pusong Township and Ran Ba Township are both over 4300 meters above sea level. Lawyer Zhang Wei overcame the strong altitude sickness and motion sickness, explained in detail the significance of compiling the civil code for local Tibetan cadres, and explained in detail the key laws of [Marriage and Family Compilation] in combination with common cases in daily life. This training enabled the cadres of the township women's federations to have a deeper understanding of marriage and family editing, and played a positive role in protecting women's legitimate rights and interests and creating a harmonious and happy family. It was well received by the Tibetan compatriots participating in the meeting.
