Zhongcheng Qingtai's fourth criminal business tour and exchange activity was successfully held in Binzhou Institute

On November 12, 2021, Meng Fanhu, deputy director of Zhongcheng Qingtai Law Firm and chairman of the board of supervisors of Jinan Institute, led a delegation of lawyers from the criminal business department of Jinan Institute to Zhongcheng Qingtai Binzhou Institute for exchange and study. This exchange activity focuses on the exchange and discussion of "practical experience in criminal defense. A total of more than 30 lawyers from our firm and colleagues from other law firms in Binzhou participated in this tour and exchange activity. Liu Qiang, deputy director of Binzhou Institute, presided over the exchange activities and delivered a welcome speech. Lawyers Jia Xincui, Li Kun and Cui Shouxu respectively shared the themes of "Compliance Non-prosecution and Third Party Supervision Evaluation", "Brief Analysis of Key Points for Making Defense and Retrieval Reports of Tax-related Cases" and "Effective Defense of Confession and Punishment Cases". Combined with their own cases, they refined and summarized the key points of handling cases and defense ideas, and sorted out many years of defense experience, which were warmly welcomed by Binzhou colleagues. During the exchange session, Director Meng Fanhu gave detailed answers to the difficult problems in the application of confession and punishment raised by on-site lawyers, as well as the path and business areas of criminal lawyers participating in corporate compliance construction. Combined with his nearly 30 years of experience in criminal defense, this paper puts forward some suggestions on how to control and prevent risks in criminal defense.
