In 1968, 21-year-old Wang Guangren joined the army and became a military doctor. A year later, because of his outstanding performance, he became an honorable member of the Communist Party. In 1980, the 33-year-old Wang Guangren chose to change his profession and become a lawyer. With his tenacity, Wang Guangren became the first batch of lawyers since the restoration of the lawyer system in my country, and as a result, he has forged an indissoluble bond with the law for 38 years.
"Lawyers do not help with money. They should be the gatekeepers of the law and make their own efforts for the correct implementation of the law." This is what Wang Guangren said and even did.
In April 2004, Wang Guangren's old father passed away. As a famous filial son, Wang Guangren took care of the elderly with grief. On the day when he did not want to go to the funeral, Wang Guangren learned that the party involved in a case he represented had concealed the crime, and Wang Guangren, who did not know it, was supposed to defend his innocence. If the party concerned still "insists on going his own way" to make a statement of innocence, then according to his criminal circumstances and court performance, the verdict can be imagined. Wang Guangren took advantage of the gap between the funeral and rushed to the detention center to meet the parties. The client still wants him to plead not guilty. Wang Guangren unbuttoned and showed his filial clothes. He sincerely said to the client, "I also hope you can be innocent, but the fact cannot be changed. Confess your guilt and fight for leniency. As your lawyer, what I said is from the bottom of my heart." This move, let the parties moved to tears. In the end, the party pleaded guilty in court, and the judge sentenced him to probation according to the circumstances of his crime and the attitude of pleading guilty.
In his book "being a lawyer without regrets in this life", Wang Guangren once wrote: "even if the practice beyond the boundaries of the constitution and law can bring gold and silver mountains to the law firm, we will not do it and will not allow it."

In 2003, a government department in Jinan was sued by a Hong Kong company for administrative compensation with a claim of more than 0.1 billion yuan, which was the largest administrative compensation case in China at that time. At the critical moment, Wang Guangren lived up to his trust. With his profound legal skills, thorough pre-court preparation, impeccable debate and skilled litigation skills, 1. second instance rejected all the plaintiff's claims. However, he himself was completely blind due to overwork and left fundus hemorrhage. He had four operations in Beijing and Jinan, so that his left eye vision was only 0.08.
In 2004, when he was misdiagnosed as advanced lung cancer and was deemed to have no surgical value, Wang Guangren concealed the news from the public. He went to work as usual and asked his wife, who was the head nurse, to accompany him to other places to handle cases, handle cases during the day and go to the hospital for transfusion at night. Focus on public welfare, 19 years without interruption
For social welfare cases, Wang Guangren's concern is even deeper. Since 1999, Zhongcheng Qingtai Law Firm, as a member of the Chinese lawyers group for claims against Japan, has been responsible for the investigation and evidence collection of labor claims against Japan in Shandong for free. More than 20 lawyers have traveled to and from Jinan, Weifang, Dezhou and other places. Travel tens of thousands of miles, and many times at their own expense and victimized workers to participate in litigation in Japan.
