Gather the "New Federation" and Activate New Forces

At 8:30 on August 16, 2018, the inaugural meeting of the New Social Class Association of Jinan City was held in Shungeng Villa. Gong Xianqun, deputy director of the Standing Committee of the Municipal People's Congress, Zhang Jing, deputy director of the United Front Work Department of the provincial Party committee, and Wang Yonghua, member of the Standing Committee of the municipal Party committee and director of the United Front Work Department, attended the meeting and delivered speeches. Yao Huming, deputy director of our institute, was elected vice president of the new social class association of our city, and lawyer Wang Yang Snow White was elected director.

The new social strata that have emerged since the reform and opening up, in accordance with the regulations on the United Front work of the Communist Party of China (for trial implementation) issued in 2015, are mainly composed of "managers and technicians of private enterprises and foreign-funded enterprises", "employees of intermediary organizations" and "freelancers", which are concentrated in new economic organizations and new social organizations. As the builders of the cause of socialism with Chinese characteristics, they play an important role in promoting common prosperity, building a socialist harmonious society and building a well-off society in an all-round way.

The "new social class" includes the following four groups:

Management and technical personnel 1. in private enterprises and foreign-funded enterprises refer to personnel employed by private enterprises and foreign-funded enterprises who have mastered the core technology and business management expertise of the enterprise.

Employees of 2. intermediary organizations and social organizations, including lawyers, accountants, appraisers, tax agents, patent agents and other professional institutions that provide knowledge-based products and services, as well as employees of social organizations, foundations, and private non-enterprise units.

3. freelance personnel refer to those who do not work in any economic organization, institution or government department, and provide certain services to the society and obtain remuneration by virtue of their own knowledge, skills and expertise within the scope permitted by national laws, regulations and policies.

4. new media practitioners refer to those who use new media as a platform or object to engage in investment and financing, technology research and development, content production and release, and business management activities on behalf of specific institutions, including investors, business managers, and editors of new media companies. Personnel and technical personnel, etc.

The number of people from the new social class in Jinan is more than 859000, and there are 292 members of the new social class association.
